Installation
The TAPI Client Software runs on a user's PC and is used to provide a TAPI interface to any TAPI compliant applications running on the PC. The TAPI Client is a part of a client/server solution and also makes a connection to its server component solution which provides the interface to the telephone system (PBX). The installation guide assumes the server has already been installed.

To install the TAPI Client software, double-click on the setup program. The installer package should launch the setup wizard and the installation will commence.

The installation process may take between thirty seconds and ten minutes depending on the software that is already on your computer. It may even be necessary to reboot your computer during this process. Please follow any instructions given.

The TAPI Client software must be installed to the applicable application folder as per the associated application TAPI connectivity. During the installation click "Change" to specify and change the directory from the default directory.

Enter the IP address of the server. Press "install" and that's it.
Note: A license must be installed on the server for every TAPI application installed on the end user's PC requiring telephony integration.
